Job Description
As Senior Social Media Officer, you will be responsible for creating content for Qatar Airways Group social media channels. You will be responsible of developing creative and innovative ideas and new creative concepts, photography and videography, editing development and stakeholder’s coordination’s. You’ll implement Qatar Airways Group social media strategy, create competitor analysis and monitor all trends on social media platforms. We work in a fast-paced environment and quick turnarounds, so flexibility is critical for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
Creating social media content in all formats (Reels, TikTok, YouTube long form and shorts…etc.)
Edit video footage to create compelling and visually appealing content that aligns with our brand and project objectives.
Create campaigns to enhance social media presence
Cover events on Qatar Airways social media channels by creating a storytelling content using all possible tools Cameras, GoPro, insta 360 and mobile phones.
Ideating and building creative concepts and scripting
Create and execute a plan to actively engage and grow our social followers and generate conversion and engagement
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create content and manage pre-shoot logistics and preparations

QualificationsWe are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Social Media team. We work in a fast-paced environment and quick turnarounds, so flexibility is critical for success in this position.
You will need a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in social medial/digital marketing, communication, computer animation, 3D/graphic design or fine arts) with at least 5 years’ experience in social media and content development; experience in travel industry or social media agency is beneficial.
Strong writing and verbal communication skills
Ideal candidates will need to demonstrate their ability to work in stressful situations, where nonstandard working hours may be required. You will need to be able to juggle multiple activities and managing multiple projects at the same time.
You should be a creative storyteller, with strong presentation skills and have a willingness to experiment and an eye for detail.
You will need to have the ability to nurture and develop great working relationships.
Proven experience as a skillful film maker & content creator, with an expert knowledge of filming using different cameras, lenses also phone filming.
Full-fledged editing skills by using different software’s such as (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Lightroom, Photographer, Cinematography and DaVinci Resolve and Capcut)
Ability in sound design and colour grading are also preferred.
