Job Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
- Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
- Work with project managers/project engineers to ensure all projects are set up and executed in full compliance with all the requirements of the Worley Project Management Process (WPMP) and General Management System (EMS) using consistent approaches, Work Breakdown Structures, work methodologies and reporting systems
- Monitors theclosure of all identified risks and opportunities.
Safety
- Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures
- Promoting health, safety and environmental awareness.
Qualifications:Job Specific Knowledge:
- Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment
- Extensive knowledge of Shell DEP’s, API Standards (API-520, API-521, API-14C, API-14E) and statutory and regulatory requirements and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to process design for oil and gas/refinery/petrochemical facilities.
- Experience in various phases of project life cycle; feasibility/concept studies, FEED, detail engineering, EPIC.
- Experience in Gas processing, gas treatment, LNG, LPG, gas compression, GTL, refinery, offshore
- Experience of leading debottlenecking and revamp studies
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Extensive knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS, PROII, Flarenet
- Proficiency in PFD / P & ID & datasheet development
- Offshore experience is an advantage
- Proficiency in equipment sizing (pumps, vessels, exchangers, etc) and hydraulic calculations
- Extensive experience in pipeline modeling using Pipesim, pipeline studio, Pipephase, Pipenet is an advantage
Industry Specific Experience:
- Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Must have design experience within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years’ at least, leading a team of process discipline engineers and designers
- Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the process discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
