The Senior Orthopedics Consultant will lead our orthopedics department, providing expert medical care, consultation, and leadership in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), this position offers an opportunity to contribute to clinical excellence, education, and research in orthopedic medicine.
Provide specialized orthopedic consultations, evaluations, and treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases.
Perform complex orthopedic surgeries, such as joint replacements, spine surgeries, trauma surgeries, arthroscopic procedures, and corrective surgeries.
Utilize diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound, to diagnose and monitor orthopedic conditions.
Lead and mentor a team of orthopedic surgeons, residents, fellows, nurses, and support staff within the orthopedics department.
Provide guidance on clinical management, surgical techniques, and orthopedic care protocols.
Foster a culture of clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous professional development among orthopedic staff.
Implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, patient safety, and satisfaction in orthopedic care.
Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, protocols, and regulatory standards relevant to orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation.
Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, peer evaluations, and quality improvement projects to optimize patient care pathways.
Engage in teaching, supervision, and mentorship of medical students, residents, orthopedic fellows, and allied health professionals.
Contribute to orthopedic research studies, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences.
Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic surgery, techniques, implants, and rehabilitation strategies, and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Collaborate effectively with other specialty departments, including radiology, physical therapy, sports medicine, and anesthesia, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds, case discussions, and departmental meetings to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
Proven ability to manage diverse patient populations and complex medical conditions in a primary care setting.
Proficiency in performing complex orthopedic surgeries and managing orthopedic conditions across all age groups.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Minimum 3 years of experience as Orthopedics Consultant (Mandatory).
Preferred: Minimum 1 year’s work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).
