The Senior Financial Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, optimization, and strategic development of financial systems within the organization. The role involves collaborating with finance, accounting, and IT teams to enhance system capabilities, ensure data integrity, and support financial planning and analysis activities. This individual will lead initiatives to streamline business processes, implement new solutions, and support ongoing system improvements.
Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems such as ERP, budgeting, and reporting tools.
Oversee system configurations, upgrades, and integrations to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure alignment of financial systems with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within finance operations.
Lead initiatives to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline financial workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
Manage financial system projects, including upgrades, new implementations, and integrations with other enterprise applications.
Develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all financial systems.
Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact between finance, IT, and other stakeholders for financial system-related matters.
Partner with business leaders to identify and translate business needs into technical requirements.
Lead and mentor a team of financial systems analysts and administrators.
Provide guidance on technical and functional aspects of financial systems management.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
SQL or other data querying skills is a plus.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
