We are looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant for one of our Oil and Gas Operator Clients
Location : Doha Qatar
Duration : 12 months
Work Schudule: 5-10 working days per month. Resident. Single
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Education: PhD Biology, Marine Biology or Chemistry
- Professional experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience in R&D: able to manage R&D projects in the laboratory or in the field (Strategy / vision, budget, planning, implementation, management of employees or contractors)
- Technical competencies: HSE, environment, biology, eco-toxicology, genomics, biotechnology, molecular biology, bioprocess.
- Behavioral competencies: Capacity to interact with various stakeholders and build / consolidate a scientific network, Knowledge of the Qatari research ecosystems and industrial players
- Other competencies: Fluent in English, Arabic and French
ACTIVITIES
- General coordination of the PlatDecom project
- Supervise and provide the scientific/technical support for the completion of the NEBA analysis
- Supervise the data analysis and report completion as per the original timeline
- Supervise the communication with stakeholders including Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Qatar
- Organize/participate to stakeholders’ consultation sessions
- Supervise the writing of scientific articles
- On demand presentations at the internal and external meetings and workshops
- On demand coordination and technical support (fieldwork) for other tasks
