Job Description

Role Summary 


  • Responsible for all Quality issues. 
  • Primary contact for the development and implementation of the Programmes Quality Management System (QMS). 
  • Will be responsible for maintaining an environment for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing, including assessment and improvement initiatives for the existing systems.   

Responsibilities  


  • Manage and monitor, activities, processes and procedures, training needs, and staffing schedules.
  • Provide technical leadership, oversight, advice and guidance on Knowledge Management tasks.
  • Make recommendations on process improvement and dashboard reporting.
  • Monitor and report on GEC Key Performance Indicators.
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure the Programme Management Delivery System (PMDS) is kept up to date.
  • Coordinate with Senior Projects Managers and their teams to obtain information from them in a timely manner.
  • Assist with KPI tracking and reporting, including maintaining tracking spreadsheets, updating reports, and presentations.
  • Establish and administer/maintain a Programme QMS with plans and processes that identify issues impacting quality project delivery and assist in successful issue resolution.
  • Monitoring and oversight of design and construction activities against requirements per contract documents. 
  • Monitor the issuance of non – compliance reports, manage completion of all rectification works, and identify trends in non-compliances in an effort identify means and measures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Arrange for regular site inspections and audits.

Relationships


  • Collaboratively work with the PWA in the development of the Programme QMS requirements. 
  • Collaboratively work with GEC staff to share lessons learned/best practices and interface with.
  • Construction contractors to ensure they are adhering to the quality policy and principles outlined for the program.
  • Interact with the Area Teams to ensure the Program Performance and Quality systems are fully implemented across the Program. 

Qualifications
  • Minimum 20+ Years Experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering field.
