Education

* Professional Certifications (Preferred) like Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) certification, which indicate expertise in financial planning, analysis, and compliance.
Experience
* 5-7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
* Prior experience in roles such as Financial Analyst, Budget Analyst, or Accountant, with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
* Experience in high-stakes or fast-paced industries is often valuable, particularly if the company operates in a similarly complex environment.
* Proven experience in leading budget processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams, with responsibility for financial reporting and presentations to senior management.
Technical Skills
* Financial Analysis and Modeling: Expertise in advanced financial modeling, including sensitivity and scenario analyses, and proficiency in valuation techniques.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Strong budgeting and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret trends, anticipate future financial needs, and adapt to financial shifts.
