We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Doha for a:

Senior Automobile Foreman (MIC) - Male

Number of Position: 01

Job Purpose:

This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in Oil and Gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with  QatarEnergy in which the Project completed 08 years multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area

Client satisfaction concluded by a new project contract awards with new Positions added.

Hands-on experience in all type of Heavy equipment/Fire trucks and Pumps

To monitor computerized maintenance system, handling of Notification, Work Order, Service Entry Sheet in SAP.

Troubleshoot the maintenance faults, problem solving and providing on-the-job training to less experienced technicians and foreman

Hands-on experience in working with Work Permit system Oil & Gas Industry

Shall be responsible for the day-to-day operations undertaken by the maintenance team under his control. A thorough knowledge of all aspects of automobile maintenance works is required.

In addition to the above a sound understanding of QatarEnergy safety rules and regulations is a requirement.

Operation and maintenance of complete  automobile Systems, which includes supervision, planning and scheduling, inspection.

Draws attention to his ability to manage a repair department, perform preventative work, and follow safety protocols.

  Your main duties will be to:-

- Ensuring the maintenance tasks.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on automobile systems.
- Developing and implementing maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining service records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Optimizing efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.

Profile

Ideally you will have Diploma in automobile with a minimum experience of 03 Years in Fire Trucks and Equipment as foreman or minimum 05 years as a Senior Technician or Technician in carrying out the maintenance activities.

Shall be familiar with fittings and material specifications.

Experience with computerized maintenance system, handling of Notification, Work Order, Service Entry Sheet in SAP.

Knowledge in interpreting SPIRS and identification of spares. Knowledge of Inventory Control and Project Management.

Shall be capable of trouble shooting, maintaining, repairing related automobile components systems

Shall be responsible for providing a variety of skilled work related to the maintenance and repair of automobile systems as well as for planning, scheduling and supervising the work of subordinates to deal objectively and harmoniously with others, and to render sound decisions.

Shall be familiar with material specifications, bearings, fasteners, P&ID, Piping Isometric drawings and the like.

Familiar with hand tools, fasteners and other similar equipment.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills,

The candidate starts with general skills like repairing and maintaining equipment, running diagnostics, and identifying problems.

Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving, 

Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.

Good knowledge of English and Mathematics at level required for the duties. Good knowledge in Spoken and written English.

Completion of 10 years education followed by further technical education

Must have a Qatari Driving
