Job Description

Job Title: Scaffolding Supervisor

Location: Qatar

Experience: 4-5 Years

Salary: Depends Upon Experience

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all scaffolding activities on-site, ensuring safety and compliance with project specifications.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess scaffolding requirements and verify structural integrity.
  • Ensure scaffolding materials meet industry standards and safety regulations (BS EN 12811, OSHA, ISO 9001).
  • Monitor work progress and ensure scaffolding structures are installed as per engineering drawings and load requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks to ensure worker safety and prevent hazards.
  • Coordinate with engineers, safety officers, and construction teams for scaffold design approvals.
  • Maintain records of scaffolding inspections, permits, and maintenance logs.
  • Enforce adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and best practices.
  • Train and mentor scaffolding teams on proper techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in scaffolding supervision (CISRS, OSHA, TUV, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding materials, load calculations, and erection techniques.
Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in scaffolding design, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans and structural drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with scaffolding regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and site workers.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
