• The Food Service Sales Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and driving revenue growth for the Food Service department- Restaurant Channel. This role involves supervising sales representatives, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring exceptional customer service to clients in the food service industry.
Sales Support and Training
• Provide product knowledge training to sales team members to enhance their understanding of offerings.
• Support sales representatives in preparing and delivering effective sales presentations to clients
New Business Development
• Collaborate with the team to identify potential clients in the food service industry.
• Assist in developing strategies to acquire new business and expand the customer base.
Client Solutions
• Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client requirements and offer tailored product recommendations.
• Provide insights and support in proposing solutions that meet clients' food service needs.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
• Assist in monitoring sales performance against targets and KPIs.
• Analyze sales data to recommend, implement, and administer methods and procedures to enhance sales activities.
• Contribute to generating sales reports, analyzing data, and presenting insights to management
Market Awareness
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
• Share market insights with the team to adjust strategies and identify opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Develop sales plans for each sub-channel and category in accordance with company sales targets and distribution strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams such as supply chain and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
• Regularly engage with the category team to gain knowledge on products and drive penetration of such products with the customers to maximize sales.
• Relay feedback from clients to internal teams to enhance product offerings and service quality.
Customer Relationship Building
• Establish rapport with key clients to strengthen relationships and enhance customer loyalty.
• Engage with clients to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience: 4 - 6 yrs in a team handling role with a reputed organization. FMCG / HORECA exposure is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a sales team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Familiarity with food products, culinary trends, and food service industry practices.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
• Customer-centric approach with the ability to understand and address customer’s needs.
• A Driving License is a must have
