About the location:


seaside retreat in the heart of Qatar’s capital; experience the completely new Four Seasons Hotel Doha, reimagined with modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views. From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.

Responsibilities:


We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join the Four Seasons Qatar Collection. You will be promoting the Four Seasons Hotel Doha and Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar. Not only will you service existing clients and agents, but you'll also seek new clients and as part of a wider team of Sales Managers, you will endeavor to achieve sales targets and the team's overall objectives. 


  • Professional typing, presentation and computer skills for any correspondence (proposals, contracts, hotel presentations, etc)
  • Sales strategy - systems and how they integrate, such as sending out proposals, and keeping control of an efficient and updated Sales Plan.
  • Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business and buying tendencies. Include a group profile for each meeting; maintain an organized and professional plan for correspondence and follow-up. 
  • Maintain communication/relationship with the WSO network and other FS hotels toward achieving pre-determined revenue goals.
  • Create and execute direct sales plan specific to markets/segments assignment.
  • Coordinate all sales-related activity through the Sr. Director of Sales; negotiate contract specifics to achieve maximum profitability while satisfying customer needs.
  • Conduct all sales-related interactions with the highest level of professionalism while maintaining specified Four Seasons standards. 
  • Assist with all guest inquiries within the sales and marketing department, including assisting with high telephone volume and walk-in site inspections. Participate in hotel-specific, local, and Four Seasons-sponsored sales blitz.
  • Adding value for guests while nurturing long-lasting client relationships and maintaining effective correspondence with all potential and existing clients.
  • Supporting the Sr. Director of Sales and leadership in the creation and review of sales reports.
  • Following up on all business inquiries/ leads and qualifying business to generate room nights and impact RevPAR performance and on all pending and currently booked business details.
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as outlined.
  • Producing monthly sales recaps of market achievement based on marketing plan objectives.
  • Initiating booking feedback as needed with the Sr. DOS, DOM, and GM during the sales process up to and including contract.

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels
  • Arrange meetings with potential clients to understand their needs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations on our products and services.
  • Generate regular reports and reviews using sales and financial data.
  • Lead negotiations and address any concerns or objections.
  • Develop segment strategies and provide market insights.
  • Prepare and negotiate group proposals and terms.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize results

 What You Bring


  • Luxury hotel sales experience is preferred
  • Three years of previous experience in luxury hotels & resorts in a similar role.
  • Proven track record in pursuing, evaluating, soliciting, selling, and confirming business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage several demanding tasks in a consistently busy environment.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills in the English language,
  • A Russian speaker is required for this position
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
