Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Achieve the agreed growth and market expansion targets.
  • Develop and implement the annual work plan for the modern trade team, ensuring adherence to daily tasks.
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports by brand and customer segment.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and feedback sessions with key accounts.
  • Develop and execute effective Channel & Customer Plans, utilizing the support budget to meet sales targets.
  • Lead negotiations with customers to ensure successful deal closures.
  • Align category agendas with channel strategies, including trade-specific plans, and ensure execution within budget.
  • Maintain shelf planograms in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Monitor competitor activities and recommend ongoing improvements and counterstrategies.
  • Manage external service providers, ensuring compliance with A&P policies and achievement of assigned targets.
  • Oversee the provision of necessary tools for sales and leasing operations.
  • Ensure sales activities align with both internal and external compliance requirements.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels at wholesalers and ensure effective coverage by channel teams.
  • Drive channel improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Expand the customer base in Qatar through strategic relationship building and business development efforts.
  • Train, develop, and mentor the sales team in line with market trends and evolving industry demands.
  • Ensure customer service standards and expectations are consistently met.
  • Establish stock norms for key brands with key accounts and monitor compliance.

Forecasting & Reporting:


  • Develop channel forecasts aligned with the support plan.
  • Track sales performance and report deviations against forecasted targets.
