A large group of companies is recruiting a
Bachelors or Master's degree holder having 15 years experience in sales and marketing
in FMCG companies, preferably in GCC. This role reports to the General Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Achieve overall Group Company’s Commercial Objectives.
Develop a plan to maintain the brand’s leadership in the market and implement a well-structured sales plan
Provides a corporate base of brand pride, positive subordinate mentorship, and guidance.
Responsible for Channel Pricing Strategy to optimize results in conjunction with General Manager and CFO.
Joint responsibility with GM to oversee company P&L results for the year.
Strong emphasis on credit control in conjunction with the sales team and Financial Management.
Responsibility of direct management of Sales and Logistics management teams.
Development and implementation of Brand Strategic Plans for all entities within the Group.
Understand the interrelationship between Brand marketing, trade marketing and sales. Develop a cohesive strategy to optimize results
Recognize the growing importance of Corporate Social responsibility in the marketing arena and use this trend to develop brand equity.
Development of Trade Marketing Channel based formalised plans designed to communicate brands core identity to the consumer
Develop quantitative measures to gauge trade performance accurately relative to trade marketing standards
Focus on healthy Customer Relationship Management
Demonstrate a concise understanding of the importance of channel architecture configuration optimization and focus on quantitative analysis to the micro level to remain in the dominant position in the Qatar market.
New Customer Development and Merchandising solutions and Trade Promotions finalisation for the year.
Negotiate with the Group's Key Clients and prepare sales plans to ensure stock availability and visibility.
Liaise with technical and administration staff.
Communicate problems with senior management and recommend and implement solutions.
Liaise with logistics manager on stock availability and with EHS and quality concerns with the EH Officer
