Job Description

JOB PURPOSE


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing process, from initial inquiry to final sale.



RESPONSIBILITIES


Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles.
Conduct test drives and provide detailed information about vehicle features and benefits.
Negotiate pricing and financing options to close sales.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and industry trends.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Prepare and process all necessary paperwork and documentation.
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience



EDUCATION


High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.




Experience

•    5+ Years Proven experience in automotive sales or a related field.
•    Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
•    Working knowledge of Salesforce 
•    Strong knowledge of sales and persuasion techniques coupled with excellent knowledge of the products
•    Superb communication and customer attention skills that help build rapport and persuade
•    Intuition about customer desires and practical needs
•    Strong knowledge about their industry and the general requirements of different customer types (commercial versus personal, for example)
•    Solid experience with writing sales contracts, handling transactions and organizing sale financing
