From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. We look for individuals who share a passion for excellence and who infuse that enthusiasm into everything they do.Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the sales team including preparing sales agreements, group proposals, group contracts, client presentations, and more.Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, submitting expense reports, organizing and maintaining filing systemsCultivating contacts with local, national and international media platforms if neededEnsuring hotel and brand standards are adhered to in all written forms of communication including guest room and outlet collateralAssisting in the deployment of planned and budgeted tactics in the annual marketing planCoordinates all corporate and group sales lead arrangements upon task assignmentsReceives, processes, and reviews group rooming lists.Works with group contacts to facilitate program planning i.e. confirm meeting arrangements, double-check space and room blocks, make suggestions for activities outside the hotel, assists in transportation arrangements, special amenities, upgrades, etc.Helps in communicating group needs and specifications to all departments in the hotel via active participation in group resume meetingsIs attentive and responsive to the group's needs while in the hotel.Follows up each group with Post-Conference reports and reviews group billing.Inputs all group bookings, and updates bookings activity on a weekly basis in Golden: Sales & Catering.Updates sales database in Golden: Sales & Catering.Responds properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staffMaintains a professional appearance at all times and conducts personal behavior in a mature professional business manner when representing the hotel or company to our contacts and representatives.Preferred Qualifications and SkillsLuxury hotel Sales experience in a similar levelCollege education or equivalent experience preferred.Excellent command of the English languageOur Offering:- Deeply instilled values-based company cultureOpportunities to build a successful career with global potential Unique strong culture - diversity of 50 different nationalities Living accommodation in high quality, well-resourced apartment Excellent Training and Development opportunitiesEmployee Recognition ProgramsComplimentary nights at FS Hotels Worldwide Paid annual home leave tickets Complimentary meals in employee restaurants Free transportation to work Medical coverage Work Authorization:- The Hotel will apply for the work authorization for a successful candidate.
