Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct and Organize NDT Inspection according with Procedures.


Functions


Understand and implementing all provisions of radiation safety and security program;


Monitoring the operational aspects Protection and Radiation Safety & Security program;


Ensuring the radiation protection equipment’s are available and functioning properly;


Monitor the use of equipment Radiation Protection;


Systematically and periodically reviewing, monitoring programs in all places where radioactive materials are used, stored, or transported;


Provide consultation related to radiation safety, protection and security;


Carry out regular radioactive leak/ wipe test;


Identify training needs and organize training activities;


Implement prevention training and information retrieval in the case of emergency;


Reporting to top management any event of failure potentially Radiation Accident;


Implement emergency response;


Maintaining Records and conduct an inventory of radioactive materials


Undertand and interpret the scope, procedure and able to interprete the film as per the procedure requirements.


Reporting of the film interpreted as per the approved procedure and creating records


Archeiving the films.


Reposponsible for the safe handling and safe submission of the films to the client.


Engaging in the meeting in relevent to the site radiation safety.


Engaging in the meeting with client on film interpretation

·Assist with any other duties as and when required


·Undertake specific projects as instructed by management






Qualifications

REQUIRED


§Diploma or Bachelor Degree


§MMECC approval by Qatar Qatar Nuclear Department


§Min 3 years’ solid experience in Oil and Gas Industry.


§PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - RT – Level 2 – Radiographic Testing (E)


§PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - UT – Level 2 – Ultrasonic Testing (E)


§PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - ET – Level 2 – Eddy Current Testing (P)


§PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - MT – Level 2 – Magnetic Particle Testing (P)


§PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - PT – Level 2 – Dye/ Liquid Penetrant Testing (P)


§Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)


§Offshore medical, annual eye test, BOSIET & MIST certification and Cat EBS, Bi-Deltoid Measurement (P)


§Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.
