You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
You will be preparing contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties.
You will prepare costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges, and present these to clients.

You will use problem solving and analytical skills for resolving contract and procurement issues within the consultancy practice.
You’ll be responsible for:
Support programme development in the production of early budgetary estimates.
Develop effective business relationships with Portfolio team members in supporting the attainment of team objectives.
Develop effective business relationships with stakeholders in ensuring adoption of functional Quantity Surveying best practice in the delivery of Portfolios.
Provide functional Quantity Surveying expertise and support to the wider programme delivery businesses.
Undertake reviews of contract adherence across programme delivery.
Undertake contract compliance audits.
Support the commercial function in the evaluation of, and negotiation of tenders, contract Changes and compensation events.
Provide support for development of preliminary, Initial and Main Gate Business Case submissions.
Provide senior management with appropriate reports to support decision making.
Act as contract specific Quantity Surveying functional expert in all aspects of Price validation and agreement, including dispute resolution.
You’ll need to have:
Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying.
Extensive of formal quantity surveying and relevant experience in cost and commercial management of workplace/office/office HQ fit-out projects.
Registered as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
You’ll need also:
A degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent) or working towards.
Some knowledge of the principals of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law and contractual frameworks relating to construction.
Working towards i.e. MRICS/RICS or equivalent.
Some knowledge of forms of contract.
Some knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration.
