About the Role
Integrates the QAS Operational Departments through a structured rotation, coaching and mentoring program. Proactively engage with QAS Departments and is responsible for the delivery of specific business-related assignments in line with Performance Management objectives. It is a developmental role to ensure the successful integration, business readiness and development within the Company. The role is in line with the Company vision to attract, develop and retain Aviation fresh graduates as future operational leaders across Qatar Aviation Services.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for effectively managing day-to-day tasks in line with Rotation program set by the assigned Operational Coach.
- Plans and implements tasks in order to deliver each business-related assignment on time and to the highest quality and meet expectations or agreed performance objectives.
- Develop key stakeholder relationships across the business in order to effectively communicate and work collaboratively together to achieve results.
- Integrates successfully into Company culture and values through high levels of engagement and proactively involvement in all areas of the business.
- Accountable for understanding all Company policies procedures and culture.
- Responsible for maintaining all documentation pertaining to business related assignments as per Company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for setting monthly Performance Management evaluation meetings with the respective assigned Operational Coach in a timely manner.
- Ensures monthly Performance Management evaluation forms are completed by the different parties.
- Communicates effectively to assigned representative and Coach at each stage of the rotation program on professional development needs.
- Assesses and evaluates the value of the Graduate Rotation Program curriculum and provides feedback to the management continuously improve the program for new joiners.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications
About you
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- 0 - 2 years of work experience
- Ability to engage with a diverse workforce / multicultural environment.
- Ability to meet objectives and deliver projects and initiatives on time.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to defined tight timescales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills English language.
- Well-developed lateral and analytical thinking skills.
- Resilient and tenacious; able to pursue goals despite obstacles.
- Ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
- People management skills.
Preferred
- Any ground handling / Aviation experience or training.
