About the job Project Manager (Offshore Projects)
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 20+ years post graduate experience in managing projects in the Oil & Gas industry with similar scope of services.
  • Must demonstrates substantial previous experience executing offshore projects.
  • Proven experience in offshore platform construction, maintenance & commissioning.
  • In-depth knowledge of wellheads, process platforms & offshore facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and PMP certification.
  • Expertise in budget management, resource planning, and cost control for shutdowns.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, SAP).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status or membership with a recognized engineering body (e.g., PMP, CEng, AACE).
  • Extensive experience in the GCC Oil & Gas sector.
  • Familiarity with offshore-specific tools for scheduling, procurement, and tracking.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of OFFSHORE projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee construction, maintenance, and commissioning of offshore platforms, wellheads, and process platforms.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors & clients to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure compliance with offshore HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and quality regulations.
  • Manage project risks, logistics & resources for offshore operations.
  • Provide technical leadership and problem-solving expertise throughout project lifecycles.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Oversee resource management, ensuring adequate allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and mitigating financial risks.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of shutdown activities.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce compliance with HSE policies and lead safety meetings.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain communication with clients, management, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and vendor management.
  • Prepare regular reports and maintain project documentation.
