Lead and manage architectural projects from conceptual design through to completion, ensuring that projects meet client expectations, budget constraints, and deadlines.
Oversee all aspects of project execution, including design, construction, resource allocation, and site supervision.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, track progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to address potential delays or issues.
Coordinate and collaborate with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the allocated financial resources, and report on financial forecasts and cost control.
Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, specifications, progress reports, and quality assurance plans.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards, specifically those relevant to the Qatar construction environment.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality of work, and adherence to design specifications.
Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise during design or construction phases.
Review and approve architectural design deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project scope.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the project.
Manage and mentor junior project managers, architects, and other team members to foster professional development and achieve project goals.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural project management, supervision, and consultancy, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.:
MMUP (Municipal Planning and Urban Development Authority) and UPDA Grade A certification is required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
Expertise in managing large-scale architectural projects from design through to completion, including all phases of project management (planning, design, construction, and delivery).
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project timelines, and resource allocation.
Ability to manage project budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and implement cost control strategies.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and building codes specific to Qatar.
