The Project Controls Director is responsible for the organization cost plans, monitor and report on the Company project cost plans, and monitor cost and collect the cost data to ensure conformity with Management's budget directives cost tracking, forecasting; and financial reporting. Identifies where costs can potentially be saved and introduce cost control procedures across the organization.
Establishing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational financial objectives.
Developing accurate cost estimates and financial forecasts to support project planning and decision-making.
Continuously monitoring project expenditures and preparing detailed cost reports for stakeholders.
Identifying and analyzing cost variances, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
Assessing financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize potential cost overruns.
Managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring all changes are documented and approved.
Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project cost performance and implementing improvement initiatives.
Overseeing vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with terms, and managing costs related to procurement and subcontracting.
Ensuring all cost control activities adhere to relevant financial regulations, standards, and policies.
Effectively communicating cost-related information to project stakeholders, including senior management and project teams.
Advanced understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
Expertise in project controls techniques such as scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting project data and identifying trends or issues.
Proficiency in project management software for monitoring project performance and producing reports.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to coordinate project teams and stakeholders effectively.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 15 year(s) working experience, 10 year(s) in a relevant management/leadership position, 5 year (s) GCC is a plus
