About the role
As a Product Insight & Research Manager you will be pivotal in bridging the gap between data and actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. This position involves a comprehensive approach to understanding market trends, consumer behavior, and product performance. By synthesizing data from various sources, the manager not only informs the business about past performance but also forecasts future trends and identifies opportunities for product innovation. The ultimate goal is to enhance the customer experience by ensuring that products meet and exceed customer needs and expectations, thereby fostering loyalty and driving business growth. Effective communication of insights and findings to stakeholders is also a critical component, ensuring that the data translates into tangible business value.
Other key responsibilities are:
- Conduct market research and data analysis to provide compelling insights for the management to construct comprehensive business cases for strategic initiatives, focusing on product development and service improvements across the customer journey.
- Design and implement dashboards to effectively monitor and communicate customer experience metrics.
- Create dynamic data models to represent customer personas, collaborating with relevant departments to analyze trends, gauge customer satisfaction, and pinpoint areas for ongoing enhancement throughout the customer journey.
- Conduct market research for different product initiatives to inform new and existing product designs. Monitoring the potential gain of the initiatives and the actual results.
- Perform market research for various product initiatives to guide the design process of new and existing products, tracking both projected and actual outcomes.
- Spearhead product research efforts to promote sustainability projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain active engagement with external stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers to stay informed about innovative products that could offer a competitive edge, serving as the initial checkpoint for new supplier offerings.
Qualifications
About You
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Product Development & Design Team
- Min. Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- 6+ years of experience with data analysis & deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management.
- Experience of using business intelligence tools to develop dashboards to track and report on customer experience KPIs.
- Advance skills in Power BI and Tableau software programs.
- Experience in preparing and giving presentation on business performance to middle and senior management.
- Experience conducting marketing research and developing business cases
- Proven experience and knowledge of using analytic techniques and business analysis concepts.
- Strong Understanding of Global Market Trends: This involves staying updated with the latest economic indicators, consumer preferences, and technological advancements. A focus on Western or European markets means understanding the unique cultural, economic, and social factors that influence consumer behavior in these regions.
- Navigating Business Practices and Cultural Dynamics: This requires knowledge of local business etiquette, regulatory environments, and cultural nuances. For Western or European markets, this might include understanding the importance of punctuality, direct communication styles, and the regulatory frameworks governing business operations.
- Experience with International Markets: Having hands-on experience in Europe or North America is crucial. This could involve working with local partners, managing cross-border projects, or adapting marketing strategies to fit local tastes and preferences.
