Position Overview:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the procurement of goods and services essential for maintaining and operating real estate facilities. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality, cost-effective materials and services to support facility maintenance and management operations.
Key Skills and Competencies:
∙ Strong negotiation and vendor management skills in a Real Estate Company
∙ Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities in a Real Estate Company
∙ Knowledge of procurement software and inventory management systems like Oracle EBS and Fusion in Real Estate Company
∙ Familiarity with the supplies, equipment, and services needed for real estate facility maintenance (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems,
Landscaping, soft services).
∙ Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
∙ Diploma in any or a related field
∙ Certifications and Training are preferred for Material Procurement, Inventory management, Oracle EBS, and Fusion
∙ 10 to 15 years of experience in procurement, of which 5 to 7 years within real estate or facilities maintenance
∙ Knowledge of real estate operations and maintenance processes is mandatory.
