Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled
and results-driven Procurement Agent with a robust background in the furniture
and home appliances industry. This role demands a strategic thinker with a
proven ability to streamline procurement operations, optimize costs, and ensure

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers with a strong track record in the furniture and home appliances sector.
- Build and sustain long-term, value-driven relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure consistent product quality and delivery.
- Conduct comprehensive supplier assessments, focusing on cost, quality, delivery reliability, and ethical practices.
Procurement Leadership- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and logistics, to ensure procurement aligns with organizational needs.
- Manage high-value contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and operational requirements.
Negotiation and Cost Optimization- Lead high-stakes negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and long-term contracts.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement innovative solutions without compromising quality.
- Monitor market trends, currency fluctuations, and commodity pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
Operational Excellence- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase orders, shipment tracking, and supplier payments.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods, resolving any delays or discrepancies with urgency and efficiency.
- Optimize inventory management by forecasting demand and minimizing excess stock or shortages.
Compliance and Reporting- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
- Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience:
- At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, with a focus on furniture and home appliances.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar procurement portfolios.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain optimization and contract management.
