Job Description

Job Summary:

 

The Parts Sales Manager to oversee the retail parts business in our automotive dealership. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, implementing effective pricing strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring top-tier customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for the automotive industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  2. Ensure competitive pricing strategies in line with industry standards while focusing on customer satisfaction.
  3. Continuously explore business expansion opportunities, including opening new retail outlets or upgrading existing operations.
  4. Drive the development of marketing and sales promotions to manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory in coordination with the Parts Director.

Customer Service & Satisfaction:

  1. Implement quality service improvements to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
  2. Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to foster long-term business partnerships.

Operations & Inventory Management:

  1. Oversee retail sales operations across all branches, ensuring compliance with company and manufacturer standards.
  2. Plan and manage the budget and inventory, optimizing stock levels to balance demand and supply efficiently.
  3. Ensure the safety, security, and proper maintenance of all allocated assets within the department.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  1. Monitor sales performance against targets and generate detailed reports for senior management.
  2. Evaluate sales trends and analyze market insights to make data-driven decisions for sales growth.
  3. Identify and report any operational challenges or concerns that may affect business objectives.

Team Leadership & Development:

  1. Lead, train, and develop the sales team, ensuring they possess the necessary knowledge and skills to meet department goals.
  2. Establish performance evaluation metrics (KPIs) and implement monthly incentives based on employee performance.
  3. Conduct regular coaching, mentoring, and career progression planning for the sales team.

Compliance & Professional Development:

  1. Attend meetings, training, and development programs as required by the company and manufacturer.
  2. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
