Job Description
Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee and manage the daily operations of Mobility - Corporate Leasing focusing on the Oil and Gas sector, Airline sector, Government and Semi-Government sector, and Central Operations. This role requires strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and effective team management to ensure smooth functioning across various sectors. The Senior Operations Manager will also work closely with assistant managers to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Sector-Specific Operations Management:
- Oil and Gas Sector:
- Oversee the operations of the assistant manager handling corporate clients in the oil and gas industry.
- Manage service contracts, vehicle fleets, and adherence to industry-specific regulations.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to high-priority clients.
Airline Sector:
- Supervise the assistant manager responsible for handling airline partnerships and agreements. Ensure smooth coordination of vehicle rentals for crew, ground staff, and passengers.
- Manage exclusive rental services for airline clients, adhering to their specific needs.

Government and Semi-Government Sector:
- Oversee the assistant manager dealing with government and semi-government clients.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, tender processes, and service contracts.
- Maintain relationships with government agencies and ensure high-level service delivery.
Central Operations Management:
- Coordinate with the Central Operations Manager to streamline processes across all sectors.
- Develop and implement standardized procedures for fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.
- Monitor key operational metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure that all locations are consistently aligned with company policies and standards.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead a team of assistant managers and operations staff across various sectors.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure high-level performance.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify skill gaps and provide training programs to upskill staff.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in each sector.
- Act as the escalation point for any customer service issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure that their needs are being met and explore opportunities for additional services.
Financial & Budget Management:
- Oversee the budgeting process for operations within each sector.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including fleet vehicles, staff, and operational infrastructure.
- Manage cost control strategies to ensure profitability and cost-efficiency.
- Analyze operational expenses and identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
Fleet Management:
- Develop and execute fleet acquisition strategies based on market demand, client needs, and business growth projections.
- Regularly evaluate the latest vehicle models and technologies to ensure the fleet is modern, efficient, and aligned with industry trends (e.g., electric vehicles, hybrid cars).
- Monitor fleet utilization and availability to ensure customer demands are met without downtime.
- Adjust fleet allocations dynamically based on client requirements, seasonality, and business forecasts to avoid over or under-utilization.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present operational reports to Director, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve service quality.
