We are looking for an Offshore QC Supervisor STR/PVV Day for one of our clients with the following details:
Start Date : 02-MAR-2025
End Date : 31-DEC-2025
Location: Offshore Rotational - Qatar
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Qualification: Engineering Degree or Diploma experienced technician with HND/HNC and minimum of 10 years experiences in the oil and gas industry,
- Professional Experience: Around 8 years of experience associated with ISO9001:2015 Quality Management in Quality Assurance and Quality Control, coordination of quality activities within Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Hook-up, Brownfield, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up projects of oƯshore facilities (jacket/topsides) in the Oil and Gas Industry,
- Valid Certified to – Welding :- AWS SCWI, CSWIP Grade 3.2 or EWIP/IWIP-C or COMPANY approved equivalent. NDT :- ISO 9712, ASNT/PCN.
- Preferably a Certified and Experienced in Coating Activities (NACE/AMPP or FROSIO)
- Familiar with General Specifications, MANASA / OPERCOM tools and relevant codes and standards,
- Language: Fluent in English (Speak & Written).
- Computer literate and Good analytical skills,
- Good sense of team leadership spirit, strong interpersonal and soft communication skills in multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
- H2S, CA-EBS, T-BOSIET OPITO approved trainings.
Missions:
Responsible for preparation and quality controlling the construction activities to the works related to DBN PWM, including HSE:
- To ensure compliance with HSE legislation, Company standards and procedures as they apply to project management and project engineering to ensure employee safety and legislative compliance.
- To ensure compliance with Company Management System and applicable International Standards.
- To participate in the risk analysis as required to ensure safe and timely execution of the works.
- To conduct daily safety tours, toolbox talk audits and ensures all safety issues are reported through site management in a timely manner.
- Delivers onshore construction projects, ensuring that no additional remedial work is required. Scope and development:
- Ensure that the resources and organization from CONTRACTOR are adequate with regards to the workload related to quality control on Piping, Structural and coating activities,
- Ensure that all required inspections, audits or equipment certification required are performed in time and that all corrective action plan is properly implemented by CONTRACTOR.
- Ensure the timely completion of the works and monitor closely SITE
- performance, work schedule and progress.
- Liaise with internal Construction team & CONTRACTOR, Third Party for Control implementation.
- Centralize all the Quality documentation produced oƯshore and ensure follow up and traceability and issuance in MANASA.
- Inspect any material at oƯshore requested by onshore team (if any)
- Ensure CONTRACTOR personnel training and qualification compared to the activities to be performed.
- Participate on request to Construction / SITE meetings with CONSTUCTION TEAM /CONTRACTORS.
- Participate on request in the regular HSE Committee meetings & Safety tours.
- Ensure all construction/fabrication documents are verified and compliant to technical requirements.
- Ensure that all installation steps, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities are properly completed.
- Report on regular basis about installation eƯiciency, and potential drifts on quality, planning and/or cost.
- Provide Quality Control indicators and remedial actions to ensure quality eƯiciency.
- Ensure that uncompleted activities are properly tracked and recorded under the punch list system.
- Propose actions plan and corrective actions for any deficiency, anomaly or non- compliance.
- Stop the work when necessary & report immediately to CSR/HSE Superintend any anomaly, violation & unsafe practice.
- Maintain a team player role with CONSTRUCTION & CONTRACTOR and strict to achieve the project objectives & Company Standard/Code requirements
- Perform the line walk and completed the ICAPS check sheets and RFCC dossiers review to ensure the subsystem being pre-commissioning activities are completed.
- Time to time carry out any other duties/projects may be assigned by the Hierarchy (if required).
- Prepare a REX for piping, structural and coating Quality Control discipline.
