We are looking for a NLQ Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients with the following details:

Qualifications & Experience Required
- Qualification: Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: minimum10 years’ experience in Mechanical engineering and design in offshore Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong Mechanical knowledge in Static, Rotating and Packages related to Living Quarter are required
- Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Familiar with International Code and Standards is a plus (including SOLAS, ABS, NORSOK, NFPA)
- Knowledge of Company standards (or Company General Specifications) is a plus
- Language: fluent English,
- Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
Activities:
- Ensure Engineering Dossier delivered with a robust Mechanical engineering definition and fit for purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of Company standard, project basis of design, and SOR.
- Thorough, efficient, and timely review of project Mechanical Engineering discipline documents, realization of potential derogations to the standards, and challenge the design to achieve an optimize and fit for purpose outcome
- Support project studies and meetings related to the Mechanical Engineering discipline as per project approved gate levels and design maturity
- Identifying potential risks and scope changes within the Mechanical Engineering discipline, conducting initial impact assessment to provide detailed information to Engineering Lead.
