Job Description

The Mechanical Technician role in the petrochemicals and refined petroleum products manufacturing sector is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment. This position requires a skilled technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems to support production goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles and hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in petrochemicals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  3. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  4. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks on machinery.
  5. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  8. Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  9. Support troubleshooting efforts during production issues to quickly restore operations.
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
