Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Location: Qatar

Experience: 4-5 Years

Salary: Depends Upon Experience

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Plan and allocate tasks to technicians and workers for efficient workflow.
  • Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, and components for proper operation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor and ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and provide technical solutions to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections, and equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct safety briefings and enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations.
  • Train and mentor technicians on mechanical procedures and best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supervising mechanical projects, maintenance, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
Skills Required:
  • Expertise in rotating and static equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, API, ISO).
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication skills for coordination with teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and risk assessment in mechanical works.
