BIM Modeling: Create, update, and maintain accurate 3D models for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) using Revit MEP.
Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, architects, and other project team members to ensure coordination of mechanical systems with other disciplines (structural, electrical, etc.).
Model Coordination: Participate in BIM coordination meetings, identify potential clashes between systems using Navisworks or similar tools, and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth project execution.
Technical Documentation: Produce 2D drawings, schematics, and layouts from the BIM model, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that BIM models adhere to design standards, client specifications, and established BIM protocols.
Revit Family Creation: Create and manage custom Revit families for mechanical components to ensure accurate representation in the model.
Design Support: Provide technical support to the design team, assist with design modifications, and update the model as required throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Coordination: Assist in the management of project schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of BIM models and related documentation.
Documentation Management: Maintain and update all project-related documentation and ensure that the latest revisions are distributed to all stakeholders.
