Job Description

Temporary role reporting to the Head of Marketing 


As HEC Paris approaches its 15th anniversary in 2025, we are looking for a Marketing Project Specialist to support the increased marketing activities during this period. This temporary 6-month position will play a key role in managing digital and social media marketing, branding, and communication. The Specialist will collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute strategic campaigns, manage media relations, and produce impactful marketing collateral.


Key Responsibilities 


Digital Marketing


  • Maintain and update the HEC Paris website and social media channels with engaging anniversary-related content;
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid search (SEM), display ads, and social media advertising to increase event attendance and brand awareness;
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics (e.g. Google Analytics, social media insights), making adjustments to optimize campaign outcomes;
  • Oversee the social media activities, including the monthly plan, content creation and propose ideas to increase engagement on our platforms; 

Content Creation & Copywriting


  • Write and edit content for a variety of formats, including press releases, brochures, newsletters, and digital content;
  • Craft speeches, editorials, and communications to showcase HEC Paris’ history and achievements;
  • Ensure all written content aligns with the anniversary theme and resonates with target audiences;
  • Evaluate the written quality of documents submitted for publication and provide written feedback on the works;

Media Relations


  • Coordinate PR activities with external agencies; brief and create action plans and recommendations.
  • Prepare press kits and manage media requests, enhancing the university’s  presence in the media ;
  • Monitor media coverage and report on campaign effectiveness; 

Branding


  • Ensure consistent application of HEC Paris’ branding across all anniversary materials, adhering to visual identity and messaging guidelines;
  • Manage the production of branded merchandise, signage, banners, and event collateral;
  • Work with graphic designers and vendors to ensure high-quality production of printed and digital assets, including posters, flyers, and invitations;
  • Coordinate the branding for the events, ensuring alignment with the anniversary theme;

Advertising & Collateral


  • Plan and execute print advertising campaigns, to promote the 15th anniversary events and achievements;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative ad concepts, messaging, and designs;
  • Negotiate with media outlets for ad placements (newspapers, magazines, etc.) within budget;
  • Track advertising performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results;
  • Manage the production of marketing collateral, including brochures, promotional videos, and presentations, ensuring timely distribution and high-quality output.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing/Communications, or related field
  • 6+ years of work experience in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and brand alignment
  • Strong organizational, project planning, and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while prioritizing stakeholder needs
  • Proficiency in generating and analyzing data related to marketing activities
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams and departments, and engage with diverse stakeholders, including executives
  • Strong initiative and proactive attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Proven problem-solving capacity, with the ability to anticipate challenges, proactively identify potential issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak periods and effectively manage pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ; Arabic is a strong advantage
  • Prior experience in Qatar or GCC preferred
