Job Description

About the role


In this role, you will be responsible to overseeing and optimizing the processes, tools, analysis and strategies that support Qatar region Senior Management and Sales Team. This role will focus on ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all related sales activities to achieve the revenue targets.


As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:


  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders (HQ, regional and global) to develop and maintain simplified sales/support processes that add value to key trade customers and drive cost/time savings to QR.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis on a variety of complex strategic sales operations projects/issues, presenting the findings and making strategic recommendations to the business.
  • Establish team objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
  • Ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security quality and environmental management policies* procedures and controls across the operation to assure employee safety, security, legislative compliance and delivery of high-quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Liaise with Sales Systems and Digital Direct to leverage self-serve functionality to manage the most common customer needs and drive improved efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications

About you


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of job-related experience within travel industry, airline marketing, tour operators or hotel products
  • Good knowledge of Qatar market
  • Sound knowledge of Salesforce
  • Strong data analytical skills with the ability to make recommendation and sound decisions
  • Excellent problem solver with advanced knowledge of project management as well as stakeholder management
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills with strong negotiation, persuasion and influencing capabilities
  • Ability to work with cross- functional and multi-cultural teams at all levels in a faced- paced working environment
  • Experience and ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow with strong mentoring and coaching skills
