Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales/leasing revenue targets set for the retail asset department.
- Implement the retail leasing strategy, policies, and procedures to ensure that the operations are performed optimally and in line with the company and customer requirements.
- Initiate business development initiatives to attract local and international retail clients and other contacts to ensure occupancy rate target is achieved.
- Identify prominent brands and retail portfolios that MP can have a joint venture with.
- Validate tenancy agreements and individual tenant profiles to make sure that tenants meet all requirements.
- Supervise the preparation and provision of any related leasing forms to tenants and ensure valid, accurate and complete tenant documentation in place.
- Liaise with Customer Relations Team the tenant’s move-in dates to make sure that leased property is prepared and ready as per lease agreement.
- Assist in tenant renewals, including identification of expiring tenancy agreements and renegotiation of lease agreements.
- Identify partnership opportunities with external service providers to enhance our capacity for managing a wider spectrum of third-party contracts while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct cost benefit analysis for potential tenants and provide detailed proposal to the management.
- Manage brokers and agents to ensure they have your full support and that expectations are clear.
- Ensure that the vacancy list is updated, and mockup/model units are presentable for viewing.
- Address and resolve all customer complaints
Skills
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Degree in Business Administration
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in real estate asset sales and leasing, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Knowledge of the local market, laws, regulations, and business landscape.
