Line Maintenance Technician Certified is responsible for performing IFEC level checks, content loading, software loading, and other scheduled IFEC tasks. The role ensures the effective operation and maintenance of IFEC systems in compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform IFEC level checks, content loading, software loading, and other scheduled IFEC tasks.
Identify necessary actions to restore functional acceptance, including the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules (LRUs) and/or cabling/consumable parts.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IFEC systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal passenger experience.
Report task completion or deferral promptly to ensure accurate maintenance records.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, airport guidelines, and applicable aviation regulations.
Remain up-to-date with new Technical Notices, Quality Notices, and other general and technical information updates.
Ensure proper usage of company-provided safety equipment and promptly report any abnormalities in test equipment to the supervisor on duty.
Resource Management:
Ensure efficient use of available resources, including parts, tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Ensure all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct part tags attached.
Maintain equipment and workplace premises in a serviceable, clean, and safe condition.
Certification: Mandatory Qatar CAR Part-66 license or a transferable equivalent foreign license (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer under ICAO regulations).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in aircraft maintenance with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in Line and/or Base Maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with IFEC systems, regulatory standards, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as per operational requirements.
Ability to work in a high-paced, physically demanding environment.
Willingness to travel or work in different locations as needed.
Compliance with all airline and airport security protocols.
