Job Description

Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and guidance to the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes advising on different transactions, property laws, contracts, and regulatory compliance. Will work closely with the legal team and business stakeholders to ensure that the commercial activities align with the organization's objectives and are conducted in accordance with Qatari legal requirements.

Legal Consultation:

• Provide legal advice and opinions on a wide range of legal matters to support the company's operations.

• Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the industry.

Contract Drafting and Review:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

• Ensure that contractual terms protect the organization's interests and comply with legal requirements.

Due Diligence:

• Conduct due diligence and title searches on commercial to assess their legal status and potential risks.

• Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations.

Transaction Support:

• Assist in the structuring and execution of commercial transactions, including the preparation of transaction documentation before all related Governmental & Non- Governmental entities and coordination with external parties.

• Ensure all regulatory and legal approvals are obtained.

Legal Research:

• Stay up-to-date with changes of commercial laws, regulations, and industry practices in Qatar.

• Conduct legal research to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.

Dispute Resolution:

• Assist in the resolution of commercial disputes, which may include negotiations, mediation, or, if necessary, litigation.

• Collaborate with external legal counsel when needed.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation related to commercial transactions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams, including commercial, hr, finance, and operations, to address legal issues and provide guidance.

• Build strong working relationships with external legal partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders.

Legal Training and Awareness:

• Conduct training and awareness programs for staff to ensure a good understanding of legal matters and compliance issues.

• Raise awareness of legal and regulatory requirements within the organization.

• Advise on risk management and best practices.

Confidentiality and Ethics:

• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintain the highest ethical standards.
