Job Description
The Lecturer in TESOL will deliver high-quality instruction in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) to support students in achieving their academic and linguistic goals within the Foundation Program Unit. This role involves teaching, curriculum development, and assessment, with an emphasis on fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and effective learning environment.
Job Duties and responsibilities:
TASKS :
- Prepares, teaches and administers classes and assessments for the designated number of contact hours per week according to the CDPs and the course schedules
- Actively contributes to one or more departmental committees for the designated number of hours per academic year
- Is Available for office hours for the designated number of hours per week
- Completes all required administration correctly and punctually
- Conducts evidence-based professional development for the designated number of hours per academic year
- Actively participates in all mandated departmental and college-wide activities during the academic year.
