As a Lead Performance Analyst, you will deliver world-leading performance analysis to inform the coaching process through the systematic observation of performance, video and data collection, analysis and reporting of data specific to the needs and demands of the sport or event group


You are able to ensure provision of a specialised applied sport performance analysis services to assigned Aspire coaches, athletes and related sport performance and Medicine professionals. This role involves working alongside coaches, athletes, and other sports science staff to provide advice, training, and support in using performance analysis, data, and biomechanics systems tailored to individual needs and learning modalities.

What will you do - Main responsibilities:


  • Develop Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) Plans – Contribute to creating and refining Aspire’s long-term athlete development strategies. 
  • Design Individualized Athletic Development Plans – Work with teams to establish and adjust training plans tailored to each athlete and sport. 
  • Participate in Meetings, Training Camps & Competitions – Engage in key discussions, camps, and events to support athlete performance. 
  • Enhance Performance Analysis – Lead the development and implementation of best practices in performance analysis for training and competitions. 
  • Prepare Reports & Training Guidelines – Provide comprehensive reports and insights for coaches and athletes, interpreting performance data. 
  • Manage Athlete Video & Data Storage – Maintain an organized database of athlete footage on Dartfish TV and Aspire servers. 
  • Conduct and Support Research – Assist with and lead applied research projects related to athlete tracking and performance analysis. 
  • Stay Updated on Scientific & Technological Advances – Keep up with new developments in sports science, player tracking, and performance analysis. 
  • Deliver Education & Training – Provide training, workshops, and lectures to educate coaches, athletes, and staff. 
  • Provide Expert Support to Aspire & National Federations – Offer guidance, training, and strategic support to Aspire sports programs and national sports organizations.

Qualifications and requirements:


  • 5-7 years years of related experience of which a minimum of 3 year should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.   
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • ISPAS Level 3 
  • Postgraduate degree is preferable (MSc / PhD)
  • Demonstrated ability of effective communication, consultation, and liaison with management, peers, and client groups
  • Excellent skills in planning and scheduling
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence suppliers.
  • Excellent collaborative working style.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Team building skills
  • Proficient in prepring reports and presenting it to peers
  • Proven personal and professional skills related to dealing with ASPIRE student/athletes from widely diverse age groups and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team as well as the ability to work independently and possess a high level of personal initiative and autonomy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
