Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laundry department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and quality are maintained.
• Supervise, train, and develop laundry staff to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring all machinery is properly working and conducting routine maintenance.
• Implement and enforce laundry cleaning techniques and procedures to meet the hotel’s luxury standards.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of clean linen and uniforms.
• Maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies, ordering as needed while managing costs effectively.
• Ensure that safety standards and regulations are consistently followed within the department.
• Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing any guest concerns related to laundry services.
• Prepare and manage the department’s budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
• Conduct regular inspections of the laundry area to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
