Job Description
Landscape Supervisor is responsible for a variety of job tasks in the completion of landscaping projects, including but not limited to plant installation, sodding, seeding, pruning, trimming, weeding and fertilizing.
- Manage the execution of softscape projects, equipment requirements and timing to ensure completion of work within project schedule
- Manage safety, quality and productivity of work sites
- Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to the beginning of a project
- Read and interpret specifications to delegate/complete work activities
- Supervise the work of staff members to ensure proper safety, quality and productivity
- Utilize necessary equipment to complete job task
- Perform preventive maintenance tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating and cleaning on a daily basis
- Train staff members on proper and safe job methods
- Complete and submit all required paper works on daily basis
- Perform manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments and equipment
