Job Description

The Landscape Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the implementation of landscaping projects, ensuring functional, aesthetically pleasing, and sustainable outdoor spaces. This role involves blending engineering principles with environmental and design knowledge to create outdoor environments that enhance natural beauty while meeting technical requirements.

Skills

Qualifications and Skills:Education: Bachelor's degree in Landscape Engineering or Agriculture Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design and engineering.Technical Skills:Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, or similar tools.Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and irrigation system design.Knowledge of construction methods and materials related to landscaping.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Attention to detail and a creative mindset.Certifications: Professional certifications such as LEED, Landscape Industry Certified (LIC), or similar credentials (preferred).Other Requirements:Familiarity with local regulations and environmental codes.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
