Job Description
OverviewUnder the supervision of a Manager, Supervisor or Lead, the employee performs manual labor task(s) in support of company operations at all levels of work as required by company and or customer. Includes but not limited to whatever job/trade(s) require additional personnel to perform assigned task. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
Responsibilities- Description: The below are not all-inclusive meaning, as other jobs assigned as well
- Detail cars by washing, vacuuming, ensuring vehicle(s) are topped off with fuel from fuel point
- Assist welders, carpenters, painters or other tradespeople on-site as required
- Handle and transport materials (e.g. cement) and equipment (e.g. drills and grinders)
- Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed and as trained
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)
- Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby
- Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding)
- Clean up: Offices, worksites for day-to-day use, remodel/buildouts, storms, hazardous or obsolete material(s)
