Role Summary
Talabat Qatar has an exciting opportunity for a creative, passionate and savvy individual
interested in a career in communications, public affairs and corporate responsibility. This position will play a key role in the way we shape, create and develop our Communications, PA & CR efforts, at a local level.
What’s On Your Plate?
● Understanding the significant role that public affairs plays in our industry.
● Organise and keep up to date the stakeholder database
● Supporting Sr. Manager to drive, develop and execute local community initiatives.
● Assist in curating content for LinkedIn, writing press releases, media monitoring/reporting.
● Work on the customer committee set-up and follow up as needed.
● Collaborate with regional team, by assisting on specific requests.
● Identifying & leveraging newsworthy opportunities for positive media coverage of the
company - editorial and pictorial - on an ongoing basis.
● Supporting the Sr. Manager - Communications, PA & CR to execute local strategy in conjunction with local teams.
What Did We Order?
● Fluency in Arabic & English (with strong written skills in Arabic).
● Results-driven, creative & passionate about ideas, words, and design.
● Qualifications and/or experience in Journalism, Public Affairs or Communications (currently
studying or recent graduate).
Internship Comes With A Side Order Of...
● Flexible work schedule, if you are currently studying.
● 40 hours per week ie. 9am-5pm, if you’re a recent graduate.
● Combination work setting of working from home & occasional attendance at the office.
● Possibility of a well-paid full-time job, if your performance exceeds expectations.
