About the job Interior Designer
The function of this position is to manage the execution and coordination of Design projects in coordination with General Manager and/or Project Managers of the fit-out project. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, presenting creative, solution-based plans for the customer and projects in the areas of space planning, drafting/CAD, furniture products, color and materials selections, as well as internal graphic and verbal presentations to ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Create drawings in AutoCAD and/or other platforms as needed (typicals, furniture plans, 3D modelling etc)
- Verify design specifications as received from stakeholders.
- Maintenance of internal reporting systems, i.e., project files and time sheets etc.
- Adhere to deadlines of design deliverables.
- Preparing drawings and supporting documents (with specification) for client/project submission including technical submissions, mood boards and concept designs
- Identify areas that may require field verification and coordinate actual dimensions with final plan.
- Inventory existing design and product offerings; incorporate in design plans and specifications as needed.
- Create sample boards.
- Revise drawings and specs when required.
- Space planning to meet the customers requests using standards as applicable.
- Project meetings with customers when required.
- Consistent updates to General Manager and Project team
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the same field
- Mandatory experience in commercial Fitout projects (Commercial/Retail/F&B)
- Bachelor's degree in architectural, interior design or related field
