We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IAFC CCHS Lab Manager to lead and manage the lab environment for the AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) CCHS (Central Clearing House System). The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in transport projects, operations, and testing, with a strong preference for experience in GCC projects. This role demands expertise in AFC systems, testing, integration, and team and vendor management, along with a proven ability to deliver on complex transit and payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. AFC System Expertise
• Deep understanding of AFC systems at levels 0-4, including CCHS, Payment Gateway EMV, Mobile Applications, ABT (Account-Based Ticketing), CBT (Card Based Ticketing), and QR code technologies.
2. Testing and Certification
• Execute and certify UAT, SAT, and SIT for AFC CCHS systems.
• Write and review test cases derived from business requirements.
• Review system integration reports, develop test strategies and plans, and finalize comprehensive test reports.
3. System Implementation
• Oversee the system testing and implementation of integrated ticketing and fare payment solutions for various transport modes, including Metro, Trams, Buses, Taxis, Ferries, and Retail Payment Systems.
4. Integration and Certification
• Manage CCHS integration and Level 3 certification for EMV open-loop transit and non-transit payment solutions across major payment schemes (Mastercard, Visa, JCB, Amex, Union Pay).
5. Team and Vendor Management
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
• Supervise lab installation, setup, and operations while ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Provide training to clients and internal teams.
6. Technical Proficiency
• Proficient in technologies like MS Access, Jira, IBM Cognos, Quality Management Suite, CRM (Dynamics 365), and VCC (Voxtron Communication Center).
7. Payment Solutions Expertise
• Comprehensive knowledge of ABT and CBT, open/close loop payment systems, QR code payments, and Mobile and Web Application payments.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: 12-15 years in transport projects, operations, or testing, preferably within GCC countries.
• Skills:
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
o Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
o Ability to manage and deliver complex projects within tight deadlines.
o Experience in writing and reviewing technical documentation, including test strategies and reports.
