Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for design, specification and services related to control systems including basic process control systems, safety systems, control panels, analyzer systems, telecommunications, field instrumentation.
TASKS:
Develop detailed instrumentation and control system designs, creating and updating 3D models and 2D drawings. Participate in design reviews and project meetings to provide input and updates on instrumentation and control designs. Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics. Generate accurate and detailed reports on design progress and changes. Conduct quality checks on design work to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards. Implement best practices for design and drafting to enhance quality and efficiency.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Instrumentation and Control design for Offshore Oil & Gas projects. Proven experience using 3D design software (SP3D & PDS) and 2D software (MicroStation & Autocad). In-depth knowledge of Qatargas standards. Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
