Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Information Management Staff member to join our growing IT department. This role will primarily focus on supporting the administration, organization, and optimization of Office 365, OneDrive, and archival systems for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Office 365 suite tools, cloud storage solutions, networks, desktop trouble shooting and information management best practices, ensuring the effective management of digital assets and secure, compliant data handling across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office 365 Administration:
- Manage and maintain the Office 365 environment, including user setup, permissions, and troubleshooting issues related to applications such as Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on Office 365 tools, ensuring seamless access and collaboration.
- Monitor and manage user licenses, access controls, and security settings in Office 365.
- OneDrive for Business Management:
- Administer OneDrive for Business to ensure proper file storage, sharing, and synchronization across the organization.
- Troubleshoot OneDrive issues and ensure users are following best practices for file storage and sharing.
- Provide training and support to users in utilizing OneDrive for document collaboration and backup solutions.
- Data Archiving and Knowledge Management:
- Implement and manage document archiving strategies to ensure efficient and compliant data retention practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and enforce file organization structures that improve accessibility and productivity.
- Support the development and implementation of data classification, retention schedules, and archival policies.
- Assist with the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based storage solutions, including archiving and organizing digital files.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide first-line technical support for PCs,Networks, Office 365, OneDrive, and archive-related issues, resolving problems promptly or escalating as needed.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to address any underlying infrastructure or technical challenges affecting information management systems.
