About the job HR Specialist

Position Title: HR Specialist


Major Responsibilities


  • The incumbent will contribute to the organization by providing expertise on a broad and comprehensive range of departmental activities, including recruitment, compensation & Benefits, manpower planning and other related HR functional areas.
  • Provides advice to the department leadership regarding best practices, standardization of processes, benchmarking performance indicators, identifies innovative solutions and options to address complex departmental issues.
  • Ensuring the timely availability of candidates for various roles and their hiring process adhere to CLIENT staff policies and procedures.

Provide efficient administrative support to the Recruitment function under CLIENTs Human Resources Department to facilitate the timely availability of required manpower.


  • Support in developing and implementing recruitment best practices and thereby ensuring continuous improvement in the processes.
  • Receive and review approved Manpower Request from divisions and initiate hiring process as per instructions and the requirements of the positions.
  • Maintain the list of any local or overseas applicants who forwarded their CVs, either through local advertisement, walk-in, or companys career websites.
  • Interact with recruitment agencies and ensure recruitment process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Screen applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications; summarize CVs for easier evaluation by the departmental heads.
  • Conduct the initial interview of candidates up to supervisor levels who are required to fill current vacancies.
  • Coordinate for interviews with department heads for interview.
  • Shortlist candidates and conduct initial screening interview.
  • Obtain feedback from the concerned department heads after the interview process to finalize the recruitment.
  • Prepare employment offers/contracts for the new staff members as well as employment commencement notification.
  • Conduct background checks on prospective recruits.
  • Liaise with the Immigration and Housing department to facilitate travel and lodging for new joiners.
  • Ensure timely mobilization of new hire with issued visas by following up with the Immigration Officer.
  • The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
  • Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.

Qualification


  • Bachelors degree in business administration or human Resources or a related stream relevant to the role.

Experience & Knowledge Requirement


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in human resources preferably within Health sector entailing responsibilities of Recruitment process
  • Knowledge of advanced HR Practices and HR Trends
  • Knowledge of Professional Qualification Requirements in line with Department of Healthcare Professions.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end recruitment process and best practices.
  • Ability to analyse data effectively in order to produce recommendations.
  • High level of Computer literacy and Proficient in MS Office
