An International Boys School in Qatar that follows the British Curriculum is looking for Head of Secondary grade levels who will be responsible for liaising with teachers in the Secondary department and curriculum development for the programs. Needs to have the ability to teach at different levels of Secondary grades. Develop lesson plans and themes in line with British curriculum objectives. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment.
Meeting with teachers, counselors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problem. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects and attend staff meetings
TAX FREE Monthly salary QAR 22,000 to 26,000 depending on qualifications and experience
Furnished 1 to 2 bedroom apartment depending on family size
Medical insurance for employee and one dependent (spouse or child)
Return air fare for employee and one nominated dependent (can either be spouse or child)
Plus Excess Luggage allowance of 1000 QAR upon proof of receipt
In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar. Minimum 30 days
100% discount on 1 child tuition fee when attending same school as employee
Resident Visa fees covered by the school for employee only
One month Basic Salary for each year worked as per country Labour Law
Open contract period - minimum 1 year renewable
