Job Description

Full-time position reporting to the Associate Director of Operations 


The Head of Delivery for Custom and Open Programs oversees the design, planning, and execution of programs, ensuring they align with client expectations and adhere to HEC Paris standards. This role includes managing the program delivery team to drive operational efficiency and maintain high-quality outcomes.


Key Responsibilities 


  • Lead the design, planning, scheduling, and execution of all Custom and Open Programs, including those outside Qatar;
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Custom and Open Program team, including work allocation, cross-department coordination, adherence to internal procedures, and problem resolution;
  • Work closely with the Academic Director to appoint appropriate faculty members and enhance the content, structure, and quality of programs in alignment with client expectations;
  • Manage faculty compensation negotiations and oversee faculty performance evaluations, ensuring continuous feedback and identification of areas for improvement;
  • Act as a key relationship owner alongside the Strategic Partnership Manager, serving as the focal point for clients throughout the program lifecycle; organize and attend stakeholder meetings, especially during the program design phase, ensuring alignment with client expectations;
  • Represent the department in internal brainstorming sessions (pre-sales, pre-program, and award phases) as requested by the Sales team; facilitate diagnostic meetings and ensure client requests are addressed promptly;
  • Ensure all Custom and Open Programs comply with HEC Paris policies and meet quality standards; regularly review and improve processes and procedures to maintain consistency across all programs;
  • Ensure all official academic documents are maintained, and oversee the preparation of statistical reports as requested;
  • Oversee the department's budget forecasting and ensure cost control across all programs; review proposals and validate program budgets in the pre-sales phase;
  • Supervise direct reports, provide performance feedback, identify training opportunities, and support their professional development to ensure high productivity levels;
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating the identification and implementation of new initiatives to drive growth and program excellence.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business or related field
  • 10+ years of work experience, preferably in similar roles
  • Knowledge of higher education or the executive education industry preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong organizational, project planning, and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while prioritizing stakeholder needs;
  • Excellent presentation skills combined with advanced analytical and financial acumen
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with proven experience in managing and leading teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, together with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams and departments, and engage with diverse stakeholders, including executives
  • Strong initiative and proactive attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Proven problem-solving capacity, with the ability to anticipate challenges, proactively identify potential issues and develop effective solutions
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak periods and effectively manage pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French and/or Arabic are appreciated
  • Prior experience in Qatar and/or GCC preferred
